This year’s Festival will be on
23rd to 25th September 2022.
We would love to welcome you to the Ross-on-Wye Walking Festival this year. Ross is an accredited Walkers are Welcome town and our Festival reflects the friendly nature of our welcome in this largely undiscovered area of South Herefordshire. We are blessed with the ability to take you off the beaten track on a real variety of gentle to medium walks aimed at all abilities – led by informed and enthusiastic people with a fount of local knowledge. Some walks have wonderful special interest themes or activities, while others just explore the natural beauty around our quirky town.
If you are going to be in town on the Saturday evening (24th September) why not come to the Equinox Festival, a free community wellbeing and world music event taking place at the Bandstand in Ross-on-Wye.
We will be closely monitoring all Covid regulations and take relevant steps to ensure that we and our guests remain safe – and if necessary have contingency plans which may mean reducing the number of walkers on some walks/ increasing the number of leaders. Rest assured we will take Covid precautions seriously. So take your pick and browse our programme for this year and we hope to see you in person.
