Ross Walkers are Welcome (RWaW) has been busy together with the Wye Valley National Landscape (was AONB) to improve footpath access locally – replacing stiles with gates – or gaps! Since April 2023 40 new gates have been installed; with another 35 for this winter.
Installation has been done by Enviroability, Herefordshire Ramblers and a team of local volunteers – supported by Herefordshire Council PROW.
The leaflets are downloadable and there is also a GPX file (see note below) for those of you who can use it. This site is managed by unpaid volunteers. If you have enjoyed the walks please consider making a small donation towards our overheads. Please go to JustGiving. Any comments or questions please contact.
Whilst walking in this lovely part of the country please be considerate to the whole community by following The Countryside Code
